About the stone:

 Serpentine is a distinctive natural stone known for its rich green colors, ranging from pale yellow-green to deep, almost blackish green, often with mottled, veined, or marbled patterns. Its name comes from the Latin serpens, meaning “snake,” likely inspired by the stone’s often scaly or snake-like appearance. Serpentine minerals commonly develop when water reacts with ultramafic rocks such as peridotite. These rocks originally formed deep within Earth and can later be exposed at the surface.
