About the stone:

 Chrysocolla is a captivating gemstone known for its vibrant shades of turquoise, ocean blue, and rich green, often accented by earthy brown or black patterns. Its beautiful colors and intricate natural formations make each stone unique, resembling miniature landscapes, tropical lagoons, or views of Earth from above.

Chrysocolla has been known since antiquity. The ancient Greek scholar Theophrastus described it around 315 BCE, and its name comes from the Greek words chrysos (gold) and kolla (glue), referring to its historical association with goldsmithing.

Notable chrysocolla deposits occur in Peru, Chile, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Australia, and the southwestern United States, particularly Arizona.
